Did I manage to save both AG Center and Highpool?

I went to AG Center first, this time. Did it all in a single run and then went to the radio tower to get the repeater units (Yea I know..). When I finished installing the unit in AG Center, I went to Highpool.
Ever since I entered everything seems like it wasn't overrun. The girl that desperately wants a husband is still alive, and asked for my help with the intruders trying to break in her lockbox. Also those "townies" fighting the raiders up above. Even the radio communications are the same, which, while I was doing AG center, I could hear them pleading for help and after a while Jackhammer mocking us and the Skorpions.
What's going on? This is really weird.

So you saved the AG center first (which would have been before Vargas radios you to tell you about it, right?) and then went to the radio tower, right? And then BACK to the Ag Center to install the repeater?

While you were in the AG center the first time, did you hear any radio transmissions from either Vargas or Highpool?

What about the second time?

I'm just curious if doing things out of order messed up the game or if it is an actual solution.

As soon as I went out to the world map, I heard the two distress calls, and while I was getting the cache thats below the citadel, vargas asked me to visit them. I went to AG Center, did all of it, while hearing how Highpool asked for help and got destroyed. After that went to get the repeater units and installed one on the AG Center, then went to Highpool and to my surprise, it was still at safe, everybody is still alive, even up in town. I just saved outside Kate's mission.

I just started a new game last night and this did not happen for me. Strange. Keep playing--I've heard that with previous builds if you do manage to save both it messes up things down the road.

Yea that's what I was fearing, because I'm yet to play the 'new' zones, like Darwin's village and the Titans.

Well, hang on to it because if it does cause problems later on the devs might be interested in it--if you decide to file a bug report.

Try emailing your save to [e-mail] and tell them your issue. It looks like you've run into a situation where the developers didn't take into consideration that players would do what you did.
