Suggestion: Quick Travel
Some areas are huge and some quests require going back and forth like a seesaw. Fast travel from one section to another would be a great improvement to this game.

By the way, if you acknowledge the bugs and suggestions I put on centercode I'd be more inclined to put in more.

They've received thousands of reports on Center Code, don't expect to ever get a personal answer. But they have acknowledged that fast travel within areas is one of the most requested features.

I don't need a comment on my entries I just need to know they are actually being looked at.

I hope they put in fast travel (obviously).

There's a chance they'll put in fast-travel inside locations to already explored places, so for example if you've already finished Highpool but then return - you can instantly the wall so you don't need to run through the town and take the crane-left. Stuff like that (Fallout 1-2 had this).

As for fast-travel between locations, so being able to fast travel between Ranger Citadel and Canyon of Titan (or wherever) I would say the chances of that are zero, because it would effectively make an entire part of the game (the world map, oases and caches, random encounters and radiation) completely redundant.

Also it would make the world feel way too small and enclosed.

Can we PLEASE have the option to traverse to the World Map whilst in a local area? Sick of having to run AAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL the way through the initial Highpool bit just to get there and back...

by the way there is a fast way in high pool if finsh the quset and put the recever in the tunnel buy the crane opens up for you to fast travel to front and take rope back to top. so dont have take the crane all the time

I hope quick travel would also mean point of interest pins on the local map. The satilite screenie that we have now is useless.

But the whole thing is still a "maybe."
