What unique rewards do you get upon the resolution of the Temple of Titan?
It seems that the DBM are much more well-equipped than the Monks, and their leader promises to kit your squad with unique pre-war weapons if you side with them. DBM gave me the best sniper rifle I've seen so far in the game, so purely from a "mathematical advantage" point of view, which side of the conflict allows you to get the best unique weapons as a reward?

I was planning on killing the DBM and disarming the bomb, because neutered monks would be easier to deal with at a later date than a well armed/organized militia. Though, I'm a power gamer at heart, and I would totally do something "out of character" if it meant don't miss out on some insane early/unique weapons if I side with the DBM until the quest is completed. Besides, I can always kill the winning faction after the resolution so the bomb can't be used.

Neither side is good really they both want the bomb for control purposes. Roleplaying you can do it any way you want, but for gameplay its best to just wipe out both sides, more loot and experience.

Enter the valley area, get your monk companion asap, loot and clear the 2 maps, you can kill any Militia troops you see you'll side with them later. Just do not enter the Militia secret base. So once you have done all you want, when your in the temple area wipe out all the monks, search and loot everything in both maps.

then go visit the secret militia base, he will be mad at you but you can still get the scrambler. Go attach it to the silo missile controls and exit the underground and the Militia come in and take over the Monk base. Not a big deal you wiped out most of the monks other than the spawning 4 or so that appear when the militia enter the base.

Once that is over, just wipe out all the Militia also, here and in the secret base earlier. There you go, both sides dead, lots of exp and loot, no worries about either side controlling the nuclear warhead, Rangers win.

The toaster in the monk's silo base has an item in it, depleted uranium. you give that to Mercaptain and she makes a good Energy gun for you, the Gamma Blaster. Worth getting before you go to Damonta. I also recommend waiting until you have that gun to take on the slicer dicers in the abandoned railroad map where Vax is located.

To be clear, the depeleted uranium is on the toaster in the monk's own underground missile facility there in the canyon, it's NOT in the base north of Damonta where the working warhead is.

I stumbled into Vax very early into my playthrough, and I save-scummed to keep him alive through the whole game. Lol
This question is 2 years old, btw!

in the vanilla game Vax is ok, but if you lose him isn't a big loss, but in the DC his offensive power has been vastly increased, making him a buzzsaw against robots, so in the DC you want to keep him alive especially on harder difficulties he will make robot fights so much easier.

Again, in the vanilla game his offensive power is a nice help, but it isn't super strong so if he dies along the way it isn't a major loss.
