No serum at Ag center

I've searched everywhere in the Ag center probably twenty or so times and cannot find the serum anywhere. Now I keep getting all these calls about towns being infected by plants and I can't do anything because I don't have the serum. :/

You don't find the serum. You have to collect 10 exploding pod fragments (or 1 intact pod, I think) then take them back to the chick you spoke to when you entered the Ag Center building. She makes the serum out of that stuff and gives it to you.

When you explode a pod, it won't give you the left click "Pick up" option to collect the fragments, at least my game didn't, but they are there. Just left click on them anyway. Maybe one or two won't drop them but 95% of them will.

You'll also need the fungicide from the Mushroom Cave, so don't sell it.

The woman that I spoke to upon entering Ag center died immediately after our conversation.
I forgot to mention that I helped highpool if that makes any difference as to how to obtain the serum.

Wow, that is crazy! It should come up as AREA loot after a battle. Or at the very least get a silvery highlight. Needs to be fixed!

In my latest run I decided to do Highpool first then do AG center. This time I did see pod fragments (green highlight - though I obviously didn't need them anymore) and found the serum on a diseased. So you can actually find serum! outside the building

One of the devs informed me that you can find the serum in an area to the left of the woman you meet upon entering the area.

I doubt anyone who has not already found or had trouble finding the serum will be looking at this.
