I do have Divinity Original Sin but I didn't play it yet. Hard West has been added to my wishlist.
Shadowrun is not my thing, I don't like cyberpunk.
Thanks for all suggestions ;)
Neverwinter Nights 2 Complete is awesome for squad based combat, albeit it's in a high magic fantasy universe, unlike Wasteland 2. The interesting thing about NWN2 is that some of the older content such as Pools of Radience and Baldur's Gate has been remade into modules for the newer 3D engine... So if you like BG at all, there's alot of play value there.
Thanks, I didn't know someone converted Baldur's Gate using NWN2 engine... I've played Starcraft 1 this way and it was great so I'm definitely gonna check it out!
@The Cure
I've played Icewind Dale in the past, is it worth checking this new Enchanced Edition?
Thanks for all suggestions ;)
Also agree with those mentioning the Shadowrun games. Recently finished them, great fun and a real throwback to late 90s CRPGs! I'd stick with the three developed by Hare Brained Schemes (Base Shadowrun, Dragonfall & Hong Kong) though as I've heard Boston Lockdown isn't nearly as good.
Thanks for all suggestions ;)
Pillars of Eternity, D:OS and Dragonfall are rather bad suggestions if you consider their strong points are rather different than strong points of WL2. For PoE it's even worse because it's real time combats and it's not pauses that will make them turn based.
Not knowing what you like in WL2DC it's hard to say but some bet:
I don't see anything else to suggest if you don't explain more what you enjoyed in WL2.
You can also try pick some among my list of >turn based< CRPG I preferred... if you believe you are a lucky guy. :-)
Fallout 1
Shadowrun Dragonfall Director's Cut (did you really played this one? Or just gave up on Hong Kong or SR Return? Dragonfall is much better than both)
Divinity Original Sin
Wasteland 2
Might & Magic X (not combats on a grid)
Eschalon Book 3
Blackguards 2
Underrail
Shadowrun Returns
Antharion
Blackguards 1
Loren The Amazon Princess (not combats on a grid)
Avadon 1
Avernum 1
Lords of Xulima (not combats on a grid)
Eschalon Book 1&2
Avadon 2 (bigger but too many low quality fillers in comparison of the 1)
Expeditions: Conquistador
Heroes of Steel RPG (worth play a part, not to finish it, it's huge anyway)
Telepath Tactics (just for the combats alas)
If you already have Divinity: Original Sin, just start playing that. It's FANTASTIC.
I don't use GoG ;)
@Dorok
I've finished Wasteland 2 DC in offline mode. I don't know what did I like the most... main story was good but some side quests were even better, tbs fights were nice, character development was fine (simple but satisfying), post-apocalyptic world was good too.
Thanks for the list... I see that I already have Expeditions: Conquistador so I'll give it a try, I hope my 9600GT can handle it...
@HFM
I would play it if I had better GPU :) I'm running 9600GT now :\
