When in encounter how to switch characters.

So, I tried this game and I wanted to buy it, and now I am happy I didnt :) (Love X-Com). So I want to give a chance to this game but when I am in turn base mode (fight) how can I switch between characters, like in x-com? Btw it look so boring haha.

You cant "change" characters. Its Turn based in a more RPG sense? Each character has its own specific turn. Its not tied to your side like in Xcom. The higher your "combat speed" I think its called, the faster you can move before your enemies or other characters.

If you cant do anything on the character simply click End turn, Or Ambush (Wastelands version of Overwatch), and you will switch to the next character in line. This might be an enemy, or your own character depending on their stats.
