Then I sent a scout and found a container were theere is a man/robot I tried to use perception on him to no good, shot him and one of the PNC was kind of pissed about it and gave me a chance. Anybody knows who is this guy?? Also how the hell can you get rid off these big balloon robot they have 450 life and their is no way I can survive their attack even if I have an armor of 5. any tricks that worked for you

level up.
a lot.
and get better gear.
and use your skill (and attribut)points wisely.
also get more skillpoints in perception and , i think, computer science.

ok but what about that robot in the container what does it do

Vax was a robot that could be built as an NPC in Wasteland 1. I used computer skill on him but he just kept giving a message about wrong state and an enumerator. I think it probably is bugged and will not be ready until the final release.

Another thing is dont take on all slicer robots at once. use your sniper to attack at a distance that will only allow him to engage it and set all other automatic weapons in the group to ambush. When it jumps to the party you will be able to take a chunk out of it. Remember though when they die they blow up and cause damage around them.

The best way to take care of the large bots, or Spider bots as I like to call them, rocket launchers and grenades. Rocket Launchers do up to 300 damage and grenades 100. So just bomb the hell out of them. Use your snipers at a distance, this will help also. Engaging one at a time is a good thought, as well.

I also got the same glitch, with the bot in the container. The repetative error message.

The slicer-dicers have a ton of health and great armor, so the best method is to use burst fire from the energy weapon that can be found in the Canyon of Titan or Herbicide, which can be found in Ag Center. Non-energy weapons should have enough armor penetration (5, I think) to deal large amounts of damage, most of which can be found in the Canyon of Titan.

Make sure to spread your people out before pulling one of the slicer-dicers, with the people with the most initiative being in the front. When it leaps at you, try to avoid doing enough damage to kill it next to your units until they run away.

It also helps to put excess attribute points into speed and awareness once you've put as many points into primary stats as you need. I've found that I usually have about a dozen combined points in speed and awareness, and most other points in intelligence and coordination for 9-12 AP.

Sabot rockets. Just one makes an end to all your slicerdicer problems.

So useful that I have to not use them ever.
