No way to give the Pooka Shell Necklace to Martha in Hollywood?

All the guides say you can give the pooka shell necklace from the Santa Monica toaster to Martha, the healer in Hollywood. But I don't have the option to give it to her and I can't find any mention of this problem anywhere. Was this perhaps changed or moved in the DC version? Or is it a bug?

Okay, I was able to find one reference to this online - apparently you need to equip the necklace and then use the party member who has it equipped to talked to Martha. It worked for me.
