Broken Weapons Parts?

Is there any use for these or are the just another kind of trash to sell ?

In Arizona they're worth a lot when you sell them to Melson inside Ranger Citadel, but after Arizona I haven't heard that they're worth anything more than what it says in your inventory screen. But I haven't finished the game yet, so I wouldn't know for sure.

As said here^. Save them up when you start the game as much as you can as you can sell them for a mint inside the ranger base. Their also lighter than the guns you stripped them from making it a very good investment to brake down the guns you don't want other than selling them.

Once in the later half of the game on the other map, I have found no real use for them and normally find I get more scrap from selling the guns whole than braking them down (though doing so can still be worth it if you're looking for a particular gun mod).
