Why does she hunt your bladder?

Some of her attacks in her first phase are easy to parry, but i found timing dodges to be far easier. I would suggest just putting on the lightning dodge. Use a combo of regular dodges and lightning dodges. Be overly aggressive, don't let her create distance between you. Dodge into her. Dodge to close in when she backs off. Stay aggressive. She is designed to punish retreat.

Just attack with basic attacks. All you will be doing is dodging, lightning dodging and basic attacks. Time your heals so that you only heal just as she finishes a combo. Don't use skills or charge attacks. I found heavy hitting two handed weapons to work best here. It's a poke, poke, dodge type of fight. Another advantage of constantly staying on her is that if she readies the stab/grab attack hitting her will knock her out of it.

Most are going to tell you to just parry. i couldn't parry half of her attacks, she is quick, the timing is tight, half her attacks are teleports that are on fire. With that being said, if you want to go with the counter-field, dodge the fire attacks and parry the regular attacks. If she catches you with her parry, you can immediately parry after your stun to parry her counter. Parry her jumps, dodge everything involving fire. Her second phase is nothing but teleporting multi-hit attacks, most of which are on fire.
parry
I beat her by dodging and using a greatsword's light attack. Light attacks from the greatsword can reliably stagger her and let you get in combos but be careful as many of her attacks have hyper armor that can let her break loose.

Some of her dash attacks can be stopped by hitting her with a spell too.

A lot of her attacks have obvious tells after fighting her a few times and this game's I-frames on the dodge are super abusable when timed right. I was able to I-frame a few of her attacks to stay in her face.

First phase is like a standard PVP fight its the more interesting part of the boss but 2nd phase is where i feel no shame just resorting to cheesing because its so bad. My advice for phase 2 is try and bait her close to the edge of the arena and then when shes in the right spot begin spamming her with something that can stun her easily against the wall so she cant auto dodge out of your combo. Greatswords are particularly effective in this strategy and possibly spears as well.

The skill from the Scrap Lance does wonders to somehow stun her, but yeah, either dodge the hell out or parry.

If you haven't pick up the respec item, it is good time to do so and try with different builds.

i beat her both times by spamming spells and items. she seems to get staggered by them very easily.
She has some pretty obvious tells for her attacks. Pay attention to how she moves right before she attacks. I suggest the lightning dash to avoid the implae grab easier.

I used the sword with the poison buff.

Parry the kicks, swing tf out of the poison sword, repeat.

For the 2nd phase: Dodge all the attacks and punish during her cool downs with poison sword.

Just make sure you don't trigger her parry, she'll recover her sync bar if you're planning to stagger her.
My first piece of advice is that Hunter of Bladers doesn't actually have phases, her moveset changes with the different tiers of her Sync Bar. Each tier has different moves and combo enders.

Every time that you think you should dodge/parry, instead do it a little earlier for sword slashes and a little later for everything else. You'll understand later.

Change all your Seals to defensive ones, like Phys and Fire resistance. Consider the Tree Main Seal that regens Sync Rate because you're dead if you ever wind up below 40%. It's a battle of attrition until you learn her moveset.

Pierce, as always, is very overpowered.

Railgun EX is the best boss bullying spell of all time and a hilarious bossfight/phase change opener.

She's probably the only major difficulty wall until right near the end where two bosses will likely completely stump you again, but she's also an incredibly fun boss. I wasn't even mad to die that many times.

meh, she is literally the first "serious" boss of the game. most of all previous bosses are just elites fights later in the game

I beated her second try, because I was dumb dumb like I am always on my first attemps and tried to parry her counter-attack without seeing that it depleted all my sync, so no parry and I just get OS from full-life.

I would say : play agressive. She is easy to stunlock, and you don't want to let her at full sync. Don't hesitate to spam your weapon skills/spells, use elemental enchant if possible, + blood buff before the start of the fight. Parry if you can, but don't count on it too much if that's not your thing, she is easier to dodge either way.

First phase all of her moves are heavily telegraphed. You just need patience to parry her since a lot of her swings are delayed or otherwise designed to catch you panic spamming the parry button. Other moves, like the one where she assumes an Iai Stance then jumps backwards before rushing forward to swipe at you with a big firey attack can pretty easily be dodged into.

When she goes into phase 2, which is her dual-wield stance, just beat the ever living hell outta her. Swing on her and don't stop swinging on her until you either break her stance and open her up for a riposte, or dodge when she does any move you can't slap her out of. In phase 2 she doesn't assume a parry stance and she's pretty easily staggered so just be really aggressive in her dual-wield phase.

I think he means that he beat them in one try, not that he did one attack for their entire hp. Though it is a bit odd to do that and then struggle so much with Hunter of Bladers in the factory so badly.
