Just finished the game and..
I had a blast playing it. Thanks god I didn't listen to some of the negative reviews. It's not at the league of other legendary souls game in terms of complexity, environment and boss designs - but the thing is, not every soulslike needs to be like that.

They nailed the mechanics well, cool weapon skills and tight controls make the fun very enjoyable. The more sekir-like forgiving parry is a joy to use.

I actually like the 'muddy' low contrast environment that gave contrast to visual effects that are very nicely done in this game.

Overall, it's worth playing for sure, wit ha few bugs here and there, but was worth my time, enough that I want to go to a new cycle. Thanks for making this game.

Seems like a lot of the negative reviews are "Its not this". People are forgetting this is a brand new company and not a power house like from software or that its about 30 bucks.

Yeh, considering its price, it's a gem. After finishing Sekiro two weeks ago, I wasn't into another grand souls adventure, a souls-lite is perfect for this time and they delivered it. Also I love that these type of lighter games exists as more people can discover this amazing subgenre and many try other similar titles.

The story is not 10 hours lmao, all the reviewers missed a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ trust me.
The IGN reviewer that gave this game a 5 was the same guy who gave Concord a 7... His opinion is beyond worthless.
I've been playing it for 30 hours. I bet most reviewers didn't even fight Ursula

That guy is such a moron. While I don't think AI Limit is a 10, I suspect this 5 can go in the same category as how they rated Alien Isolation and how they've been rightly mocked for it ever since.
I thought I had found just about every secret and finished the game at 22 hours. I missed quite a bit and didn't know about all the endings. I'd wager to get everything in one playthrough, it'd be about 30 hours, then for the other endings, another 20-30. 60 seems about right for doing everything.

I was very, very pleasantly surprised. On my second playthrough now and I could easily see this as a game I come back to repeatedly. The world and story are interesting (even though the beginner area environments are bland), the combat is very good, and the boss fights are solid. Looking forward to hopefully some DLC or a sequel announcement down the line.
