Vikas sidequest broken?

I have Vikas's sidequest progressed far enough that I talked to Sklarm at Cleansing Stairs. Vikas was never sitting with Shirley as he's supposed to after he appears in Withered Forest and I have now progressed Shirley to the point of throwing her doll away. According to this guide (https://www.powerpyx.com/ai-limit-endings-npc-questlines-guide/) Sklarm and Vikas are then supposed to show up at Faultage Corridor but they didn't and they also aren't where they're supposed to be farther in the chain.

Go and activate the next branch, some area in the complex triggers them to spawn

Me too i got Vikas And Shirley at Cleansing Stairs and Sklarm at Faultage Corridor.After i rest and teleport different but Vikas still disappear

Have this same problem but at the Faultage branch. Talked to Sklarm, progressed until I met Shirley sitting on a ledge, went back to Faultage branch and neither Sklarm or Vikas are there.

it happened to me but they showed up after i get the elevator working (or beat the boss at that location).

After active elavator i crash game and come back Faultage Sklarm and Vikas appear :))

Also stuck on this on ps5 tried everything i can think of to fix it but vikas doesn't show up where shirley is everytime i speak to her she says that he has been taken by someone which i think is sklarm but i thought that wasn't supposed to happen until i talk to vikas and then sklarm i have a backup save but i don't know what else i could try really don't want to do another playthrough the same thing happened to me in my first aswell as new game plus playthrough and even if i have to do another i don't know what or if i did anything wrong so the same thing might happen again.

You have to progress the game until you unlock the shortcut elevator. Once you do this go down and they should both be there for the interaction as long as you progressed the quest lines for both NPCs up to that point.

if you mean the shortcut elevator that you find before finishing that area I did unlock it they still didn't show up. but i did it before speaking to shirley i don't know if that could of made a difference.

I'm not sure, for me I met shirley on the step/ledge place where she's all sad, kept going forward and found the elevator went down and they were both there next to the branch. maybe try resting at the branch next to the elevator and see if that works? If you progressed further and got to the next interaction with shirley after the elevator then it might have borked things. I'm not sure. Did you progress both Sklarn's and Vikas' questlines? The part you're looking for where Vikas and Sklarn are both there together should be the 3rd time you meet Sklarn and 6th time you meet Vikas. i kept a backup save but the interaction i cannot find is the 4th where vikas is with shirley i didnt get that one i thought maybe i will get the next so i interacted with sklarm but didnt get his 2nd interaction or the 3rd thats the questline i followed did everything in that order the backup save i have shirley is in cleansing stairs alone where she was supposed to be with vikas and sklarm is also in the cleansing stairs tried interacting with both of them in different order dont know if my game is glitched.

I figured it out if anyone else is stuck on this you actually need to complete the first 3 interactions for shirley and vikas before you actually reach the cleansing stairs area if done after you reach it you would have missed this interaction and vikas becomes unavailable for the rest of the game making the trophy/achievement undoable until the next playthrough.

Vikas #3 is suppossed to appear after beating the boss. I did part 2, but he's not there. Is my questline broken this playthrough? or is it refering to another boss?

Turns out I had to speak to him again after the mud ball(until he told me to get out of there) in location #2 before he appeared in the #3 location. Odd to see him standing right after teleporting from location #2.

Interaction #4 – Branch: Hagios Patir – Lower Level > Cleansing Stairs

On the main path between the entrance portal and the Branch you can find Vikas with Shirley learning against a pillar. You much have completed Interact #3 in Shirley’s questline to have them both appear here. If this interaction is missed then Vikas will no longer be present with Shirley’s questline continue to the remaining spots.


I miss interact #3 in Shirley’s questline. Sad
