I'm done with this trash game.

Jump, dodge and run on one button. To constantly receive dmg because character jumps instead of dodging. Thanks devs, but you should find new game designer, not this kid you call a game designer.

Are there different controller configurations? The default is push circle to dodge, hold circle to run, and hold circle and push in L3 to jump.

On controller the default have Jump on different button than dodge/run
Keyboard and mouse though have it all on Space bar.
But you can change the keybindings...

Jump is on a different button than dodge and run. What are you talking about? It's the same layout as Dark Souls

then some how you set it like that (which youre probably lying as it would be impossible) because by default jump and dodge/run are 2 separate buttons. the only trash person is you.

I had the same problem as op when playing dark souls 3. But it was because I thought it might be a good idea to put jump on same button as dodge, but then decided it would be best to put jump back on L3 to avoid jumping while trying to dodge roll.

this is my first souls game and im already massively turned off by it in 56 minutes. worst combat ever. slow and boring. awful english voice acting, main character talks like shes literally chat gpt. easy refund for me.

Play Souls and Soulslike games on controller. The genre is notorious for having awful keyboard and mouse controls and this game's keyboard layout is very faithful to Dark Souls, which isn't a good thing lol.
