Is it Difficult or nah?
The demo was a walk in the park, enemies barely attack you, the bosses are """kinda""" hard but is not like they will take you more than 2 tries lol

I've seen a couple of reviews saying the game is easy, but is it really?
So many (me included) compare this game to Code Vein (more than a legit souls game), I like that one because even if u have a partner is not that easy, and if you go alone it can be actually hard.
Is this game easier than playing Code Vein with a partner???

Also, do u get some interesting weapons or do they all feel the same?

You lose a sizable percentage of your exp that you can't recover, unlike a soulslike that would atleast give you a chance to retrieve it.

It's not really a true soulslike.
Combat involves keeping your SYNC balanced(instead of a stamina system, which is infinite in this one), you fill it by attacking so you can use spells, special moves, and the shield, but if you spam too much you won't be able to defend(besides dodge rolling). Status effects still get through the shield.

Exploration is a strong point, because it has lots of interconnected shortcuts and hidden items. The story is kind of generic though, and the MC starts with a very robotic personality and the overused amnesia back story.

Well, it depends on your skill-level with this kind of games and in this genre, broski. That is about it. Subjective skill matters cause difficulty is a subjective topic.
Like it is super easy if you are some kind of Soul-like ProGamer grand-master level player.

If a person that has never touched this kind of games says "it's easy" then the game is made for babies, simple as that, """broski"""
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I'm bad at Soulslikes, but from what I understand of the genre it's easier mostly because of the infinite stamina (as chaos915 mentions, combat balance is based on the Sync meter instead).

That being said, it's still kicking my ass and I don't think it's gonna stop any time soon.
its a ♥♥♥♥ game with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ combat lol dont waste your time with the game
its easy if you use the tools the game gives you. i dont heal or use skills and such and i like the difficulty of the game. i would say its on the harder side of soulslikes

full game is alot harder than demo becasue of this shi tty new dodge mechanics

it's easy if you use a hard hitting weapon that allow easy stunlock. It's hard if you don't. Most ennemies have erratic movements and attack paterns and also delayed attacks with sub 100ms attack frame. if you can't stunlock them, you'll have to deal with that crap and learn to parry everything.

Although, parry is way easier than in the souls serie, as it's actually instant and not delayed.
For me it is harder than Demon's Souls to Dark Souls 3/Bloodborne base game (not including the DLC), but not harder than the DS3/BB DLC or Elden Ring.

Progressive gets harder
If you are bad at parrying and don't use the blood build greatsword, then it is pretty difficult.

It's very (laughably) easy at the start and then... kinda hard, closer to Lies of P.
I would be surprised if more than 20% of people will defeat some story bosses (good luck with Ursula).

trick....
1. evade
2. upgrade recharge then use gun!
3. upgrade gun dmg

way to play: hit hit shot evade.. repat. works for bosses

Honestly I don't understand why people say this game is easy. I beaten all Dark Souls games, Sekiro, Nioh, etc. The only difference between those and this game is that it's a "little" easier because you have more tools at your disposal and the infinite stamina.

This game reminds me of Bloodborne gameplay style.

Khazan has an easy mode, so its harder than khazan. any game with an easy mode has no "difficulty" prestige.
it's harder mechanically than code vein by a lot imo on most bosses your minion partner is pretty useless unless you run the 2h beast mode that can one shot mobs with a single ability. dude carries you through the game until you get to one of those dumb ambush spots where you get bum rushed by 30 mobs where he dies and so do you.
the game has a few bosses with 1 shot abilities that are really timed strangely so idk. thats still harder than any of the code vein bosses.
you're literally forced to do a perfectly timed dodge with a proper directional input just to phase the boss. it's pretty intense. idk how there aren't more people raging about this game, i feel like a SEER and can see the attacks coming before they happen and i still barely make it through boss fights how is anybody without almost superhuman reflexes progressing at all in this game?
gotta be daredevil or spooderman to finish some of these boss fights i tell you.
