STEAM DECK performance?
The Demo was "playable", barely 30 FPS with stutters and crashes.

Is the final game any better?

Hello,
Yes it perform better. Average of 40-45 fps in steamdeck settings (basically all at medium) with vsync and fsr3. Clean graphics. The game is more stable in the full version compare to the demo.
Just one annoying thing we lost the 16:10 aspect ratio support in the full game.
I'm on SD oled model.

Oh sorry, no fsr3 upscaler. Just for anti-aliasing.
Almost on the same topic, can you force this game to run on lower resolution then 1980 x 1050 like 1680 x 1050??? Asking for a friend with a small monitor....
Runs fine for me

I just bought the game. I'm playing with the SD profile and man... the first boss killed my fps, dancing between 20-30 fps in that fight.
Also when 3 or more enemies are in the same room the fps drops a lot. I'm using the LCD SD.

It is because i have the game installed on a micro sd?

Fixed. FSR3 was the problem. TAA is giving me 30 fps no dips

This game has serious optimization issues. No matter what settings you use, the game only runs consistently at 30 fps. 45 fps is impossible unfortunately.
Something interesting I found while testing, that lowering the resolution does not increase much performance. The game feels slightly more responsive, but frame rate is wildly variable between 30-60 fps. The game's TAA anti aliasing seems to be the best, if used together with Reshade Adaptive Sharpen at 2.0x which makes the picture look a lot clearer. WIthout TAA, there is shimmering with AA off, or SMAA which looks really bad without much performance increase at all. Oh and the audio bug which makes the voice sound laggy/stuttery at the startup cutscene is still there after the last update while the video is 60 fps.
That first big enemy in the very first area drops fps to below 10 if I die and refight it.

I’m in the 2nd half of the game and that was when the frame rate & stuttering kicked in really bad. There’s definitely something going on that causes this. Lowering the resolution, & turning on manual gpu did help make it playable at at least 30 fps.

I might take a break from it and wait for more patches. Game has been really fun and really should be more deck friendly.
Seraphim Absolver (late game boss) is currently broken on Deck. Drops to like 10fps and you can’t even see what the boss is doing.
Latest update fixed it for me for the most part. Only area with any serious lag now is The area before the final boss.
