Giving a mud ball

without spoilers, I just got to a point where i was asked for a mud ball, i dident have a mud ball but did have a salted mud ball, in my opinion its a little silly that you cant choose to give a better mud ball since you dont get another opportunity to give a mud ball after if you dont have one on you when asked

Honestly, a different line of dialogue if you have a salted mud ball would be cool. Luckily, I had a few on me since I was using the salted ones to heal at that point.

Was it Vikas? If his questline failed because of that, i'd be so annoyed.

I'm hoping to have their weapon in the end of it.

It was, and I don't know. He does give you items in exchange, so it may just be a spur-of-the-moment trade. I've only met him once since that time, so I can't confirm if the questline fails.

Was it important? Is the traded item a Seal or normal one? And don't read the next line if you don't want spoiler.

I did meet him again in Forest and I guess it's safe to assume the mud ball doesn't affect his questline.
