Punching yourself in the face
Playing Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy and then deciding to walk away from the game seems like punching yourself in the face and then deciding to stop punching yourself in the face. Let's imagine that "Bob" is one of these people.

Playing the game until you beat the game seems like punching yourself in the face until you impress Bennett Foddy with how many times you've punched yourself in the face. Let's imagine that "Steve" is one of these people.

Whose behavior is more rational, Bob's or Steve's?

Steve's, because Bob clearly doesn't like punching himself in the face, yet he still went and did it at least once "just to give it a try", despite there being plenty of material everywhere that clearly describes what punching yourself in the face does.

But even with that mountain of evidence, Bob still punched himself in the face!

Even worse, is Mark's behavior, who does the exact same as Bob, but then goes on to complain to everyone about how stupid punching yourself in the face is.

Don't even get me started on Mark, he saw me punching myself in the face to impress Bennett Foddy and told me that I was wasting my time. It's my time, it's my face, I'll punch it it for whatever reason I want.

A truly rational man only punches himself in the face because he enjoys it, because it makes him feel the rush. Speaking for a friend anyway..
