"Golfing Over It" is an inspired fangame. It's considered to be a lot easier, but it's also not easy on its own.

"QWOP" is another game by Bennett Foddy. It also has bad controls, but completely different controls that are bad for their own intentional reasons.

"Sexy Hiking" inspired Getting Over It, so while the graphics aren't outstanding and it's hardly polished, you may want to check it out!

The youtuber "Codyumm" plays this game a lot; watching him might give you ideas on what else you can do with the game.

"Super Meat Boy" is a rage platformer that, granted, is a completely different experience, but the difficulty is quite similar.

"Binding of Isaac" is a pretty difficult roguelike top-down game. I only suggest it here because it has the constant danger of having to start over.

That's great and all but i've played all those games already and my needs are not satisfied
I was hoping for someone to post games that people haven't heard of like Cat Mario

I would hardly call binding of isaac difficult but then again I play touhou on lunatic

If you want a game that doesn't help you out at all, but has a very high skill ceiling, try Noita.

If you want another game about climbing and don't mind playing on other platforms, maybe look into the Umihara Kawase games.
