I wanna hear the narration during playing this game...

After I finished this game about 10 times, Getting Over It started to detect speedrun, and turns off the voice and music. When I am trying to get the achievement "So Over It", not to speedrun, I just wanna listen to those narrations while playing this... but can't.

Bennett, do you mind adding an option for turning off that detecting speedrun?

I'm torn. Some speedrunners find the narration annoying, others want to hear it. I am leaning towards disabling 'speedrun detection'

I don't understand why it has to be so complicated (speedrun detection). Can't you add this to the options, but this would be only available for people who already finished the game at least once?

There's already an option in the settings to mute narration, which speedrunners use anyway so there's no voice from the beginning

I think make it an option. I personally like the feature but I can see why it would get annoying if I just wanted to blast through the games story hearing all the dialogue again.

Personally I would like to be able to disable the “detect speed run” option. ((I love your voice too much Bennett))

Hey Bennett I'm still on my first run of the mountain and have failed numerous times, yet the colorful songs and inspiring quotes dont show up for me anymore, is this because I have failed so many times? I would like to hear them again as they are my inspiration to defeat the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ orange.....Thanks!

There’s only a fixed amount of dialog for each section. Keep trying!
