I'm running it on bad graphics with an AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor 3.60 GHz. Looking at the task manager it seems I never get above maybe ~25% cpu load while playing.
I've tried both full screen and windowed, and turned off G-Sync. While that helped somewhat it hasn't totally remediated the issue.
I can't find any updates for my mouse driver - a Razer Viper 8khz, though I am running it at high DPI.
I'd love to hear if anyone else has found solutions for this.
The issue for me was that my mouse was polling at too high of a rate. It was polling at 8k - which it seems games are bad at handling. I reduced it to 2k (though I have been told anything above 1k doesn't usually show a performance increase) and the problem went away.
Leaving this here so that any future posters (and bennett) can benefit from this info.
p.s. I noticed this issue when trying to play valorant, and the stutter/jumping was 10x as bad as in Getting Over It, so for future users it may be useful to check if other movement intensive games present similar issues.
