Ending Reward got Skipped

I beat the game, said I wasn't streaming, entered my name (Ass Castle), then I pressed enter and I barely saw the reward for like a second, then the game went straight back to the start menu. WTF?!?!?!?! I don't want to play the entire ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game again just yet to see the reward. Maybe I pressed enter twice on accident and it exited the reward. I bought this game and played all the way through without looking up the reward (which I'm assuming is some sort of forum), and now I can't even see it because of some glitch or mistake. Please help.

Connection issues between you and server sometimes does that. But most of the time it should work.

Do I have to play the entire game again, just to get another shot at the ending working, even though it might just break again? Is there some way in game that I can just go to the ending section since I've beaten it?

Yes you have to play the entire game again. And you will have to play it again to get back to the reward after even if connection is succesfull, so your loss is not as significant as you seem to think

I didn't even get to see the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing... Hey Bennett Foddy, if your reading this, at least make it so if your ♥♥♥♥ breaks, you have the opportunity to press 'Attempt Connection Again' or something like that.

Btw what is the reward anyway?

opening ports on my router helped (switched on DMZ mode), you may as well make an exception in the firewall for the game if you have it on

If your username is super offensive you'll get auto-kicked, but yeah more likely a firewall issue.

Hi bennett. I played it again and beat it and the reward worked. The game was allowed on my firewall both times. Also this time I input my name as just Castle instead of ass Castle.

Bummer. I was just about to post asking this after finally completing it. I played the game through twice and I did experience the same thing. Oh well. As much as people get butt hurt over this game I actually enjoy playing it. There is a point to the madness and a message to be understood. I guess I'll just have to find out what setting allows the reward to work and beat the game again haha

I had the same Thing happen after i beat it today. honestly, i even find the game oddly relaxing at times but i did feel a bit robbed there.

I’m playing the game on mobile and the reward never loads. I restarted the app and it put me back at the beginning I’m at the end for the second time and I’m still just floating in space. Am I doing something wrong or being impatient or is there no secret reward on mobile?

Steam version didn't give me achievements after multiple endings, so there's another bug. But at this point I don't care about playing the game again. At least not right now, since I'm playing darksiders III.

On mobile (iPad for me) I waited for a long time, then opened the menu and found a « >> » button that opens the reward menu!
