Hmm, c00000fd is a stack overflow exception, and I haven't seen that before with this game. I guess to start with I would get you to uninstall and reinstall the game on Steam.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and even after the update today I am still seeing the issue.

I uninstalled and reinstalled again as well as verified game cache and I am still getting the issue. Could it be something with my system?

Sorry to hear you're still having problems, that's a bummer. Do you have issues with other games too?
Try making sure any antivirus you have is turned off - in particular I've seen problems with MalwareBytes.
If that doesn't work, post your logs here: they'll be at %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Bennett Foddy\GettingOverIt\

I have no antivirus active atm. I am currently away from my computer, but I will post those logs tonight. Tommorow is my last day before I leave for Basic Training so if I cant get it to work oh well. I am rebuilding my pc when I get back so hooefully that will fix it. Thank for your help.

Edit: I have no problems with other games, forgot to mention
