CAN'T SCREEN RECORD BODYCAM ANYMORE

Iv'e screen recorded my desktop, opened other games while keeping the recorder running. No problems at all, so i closed it all out and opened bodycam and BOOM "RECORDING SAVED" it says.... I made sure to have the proper amount of memory available. Its Alt + Z to pull up the menu & Alt + F9 to begin screen record. Anybody else having this issue?

I understand... i cant think of a fix either and its driving me insane, cause i been using this for YEARS! I used it just yesterday to make content for Tiktok. Now all of a sudden its taking a dump infuriates me to the core.. Google, google AI, Reddit posts, steam discussions, everything is telling me to do things ive already done, that i checked, crossed off my list. Idk anything about overwolf and i dont want to switch. But i might HAVE to.. and that alone INFURIATES me even more

Sounds overly complicated for what i want to use it for... i dont need editing software. But im sure it will come with extra tabs, and clickable chaos to confuse me when im just trying to access my recorded video.. Thats what i see in my future

its not hard to use at all its actually optional you get the choice to install additional software: but if its not your style you could use fraps bandicam obs studio xsplit or even the xbox gamebar

You'd be surprised how technologically stunted i am.. whats simple for others is complicated for me and takes 4x as long as any normal person.. But thanks man, ill look into those before throwing my computer out the window

yeah the geforce overlay isn't good anymore since better recording software has come out like obs

idek what obs or stream labs is.. i hear it come up but its nothing i never understood. Some kind of streaming software maybe. Either way from all the names you gave me. Im too overwhelmed to choose one over Nvidia... I dont know anything about what one might be better than the other... I think ill just stop recording and making content all together. Maybe its time to sell the PC and take a break from gaming for a few years, this all terrible and unnecessary

obs and stream labs are the same thing just streamlabs was made to be much more user friendly, streamlabs is great, its easy to use and gets the job done very well, i use it for all my youtube content

Is that something perhaps where you can push Alt + whatever & begin screen recording? Its confusing to hear there the same thing but different.. i still wouldn't even know where to begin or what one to install, before i break something important. Other guy said overwolf... then named a few others..

https://streamlabs.com that is the download im sure they have a get started but i don't think there is a hot key to start recording but i could be wrong

Ah okay ill check it out.. Just tried that outplayed thing.. the overwolf or whatever the F... It didnt work, nothing was clear. It screen recorded but couldnt make commands keys, it turned the outline of my screen red and more importantly.. it just stopped recording once i turned off or on a game.. same with Nvidia.. Thats not including the file save location was not accurate... In a nutshell, this is why i struggle so much making changes, downloading random things people tell me to

out of a large amount of them id say stream labs is still the easiest to work with, i was in the same boat before i started making YouTube videos i searched around a lot to find something i could use fairly easy with being new to it all, been making videos a while now and im still using it, but yeah on stream labs you set your recording up to one window so no matter if you alt tab into a different tab like discord or google chrome for example it will still record the game or whatever you've set it too, and just press record and your good to go, id say the only thing "complicated" but is not really complicated, is choosing your input and output devices and whatever devices you're using, that's how simple it is
