CAN'T SCREEN RECORD BODYCAM ANYMORE
Iv'e screen recorded my desktop, opened other games while keeping the recorder running. No problems at all, so i closed it all out and opened bodycam and BOOM "RECORDING SAVED" it says.... I made sure to have the proper amount of memory available. Its Alt + Z to pull up the menu & Alt + F9 to begin screen record. Anybody else having this issue?

Yeah the Nvidia geforce overlay thing.. Whats interesting is, i've screen recorded it before. Got like almost a hour of footage. But for some reason today and last night, its just not working

yeah i had the same issue dude but ill post up how to fix it, give me a moment so i can type up the steps for you to follow

theres 2 ways so ill explain both

1. if you head over to geforce experience, go on general, turn in game overlay off and then back on, go to settings underneath overlay, scroll down to privacy control, turn desktop capture on

2. on geforce experience go to games and apps, where it says scan location click on add. then to local disk:c / program files (x86) / steam / steamapps / common /bodycam / binaries / win64. once youve clicked win64 itll show a folder D3D12, dont click that, click select folder, it should then be added to your gforce experience then exit the app and it should work. you may or may not have to restart your pc for it to take effect

Ugh idk if im more upset that this game is malfunctioning in the screen recording department. Or more upset with myself cause i cant follow simple directions. Your first step is what i did before posting here so it was nice to know i was on the right track.

The second step, I had my game saved to a different disk storage thing. Storage F for me, which out of frusteration, i uninstalled the game and reinstalled on Storage E... tried following your steps and the only time i see /program files (x86) is on local disk:C, and once clicked on the next file "Steam" is not there.. So i have no idea...

One minor change tho, i believe i can now screen record bodycam, but the moment i click off the game (to open discord or whatever) the screen recording is turned off and saved.

Ok i found the Bodycam file and the D3D12 folder, added that through the geforce app. Still no change, infact i retract my earlier statement about being able to record if you stay on screen.. It still turns itself off the moment you die once.

Nah i honestly wish that was the case.. No streaming apps are up when i screen record.. turns out after i tested it with another game. Same thing happens, the moment i click off screen it says "recording as been saved"... Iv'e updated my drivers, game is certainly compatible, privacy controls made sure "Desktop Capture" is activated, I have sufficient memory available, Ive turned off and on the "In-Game Overlay" tab, also the image scaling has also been turned off and on.. Restarted my computer, and about to re-install Geforce all together.. So far nothing is working

reinstall geforce experience

if you can't get it to work you can use better recording software like overwolf

go back to privacy control and toggle the desktop capture, it may have turned off after making the changes

Reinstalling Geforce seemed like it worked at first, but when i turned to look at the video i was recording, not only was it not there. But one push of the windows key, or clicking over to my other monitor to type this reply. IT STILL SHUTS OFF

Yeah that was a good call, indeed once i reinstalled. The desktop capture was off. But even after i turned it back on. The issue is still the same. Just stops recording out of no where. Even weirder, sometimes i cant even find the video where it supposedly recorded atleast 9 seconds of footage, before cutting me off

i can't think of the fix your best off installing a different recording software like "Overwolf"
