-Problems and Additions-

[NEET]

I gotta say I love this game, although there are definitely some things the need fixing, and some things to should be added to the game.
I made this based of other Discussions

- Additions -

1. -VS AI-
I love playing against real people, but a lot of the time, I just want to mess around, test out the gameplay, be able to have a somewhat chill time.
I was hoping the game came with it already but it didn't, I still got the game because it seemed fun, but I do hope at some point we get to see this in the game.

2. -Controller Support-
People are talking about wanting the devs to add controller support, that would be a nice change, it could very well be expected, though no guaranteed, in the keybinds section there a preset binds with buttons the the Xbox controller "B" and so on, it's not complete, because a lot of mandatory binds are missing, though it is there

3. -More VFX-
My favorite things in games is lighting, my next favorite is VFX, the VFX is good and all, but there's no gun flare, yeah there's a flash, but it's most noticeable in slow-mo at the end of the round, your gun has no muzzle flare, along side the bomb VFX, all it is, is a few sparks that fly around, an actual explosion would be nice.
I'm sure this is planned, but I don't see why it isn't already in the game.

4. -Possible Dismemberment-
I love the ragdoll system and the blood system, but getting blown up by a grenade or a full on bomb just to get tossed a few feet just seems unrealistic for a "realistic shooter game" as well as getting pulverized point blank by a shotgun, hell even if there wasn't dismemberment, at least make it to where the character can be damaged rather then a few blood spots, this could definitely could affect performance hard, which isn't ideal, so I don't expect to see this feature anytime soon, but it would be so damn cool.
I'm sure gore isn't the first thing the devs think of, and rather they think of graphics, though all these things could only make the game better.

- Problems -

1. -Campers-
I hate playing "Bomb Body" or "TDM" and getting slammed by a person sitting in a corner or some other out of nowhere spot, to spectate my last teammate sitting in the basement until the bomb blows up, this has happened more times then I could count, and it's even worse in "TDM" me ending up dying then the last 2 people, 1 is just chilling in the basement and the other is wandering about checking everywhere but the basement, I end up having to sit there for however long the rest of the round last.
This could easily be fixed by either less time in a round, or less spots to sit in.

2. -Cheaters- (Fixed???)
Now, there have been a selective few times, where someone I've gone against could have been cheating, obviously there's no definitive answer, but still.
I've seen people talking about this a lot, and it could be based of region, but idk.
A kick option at the very least would be nice, at the very most being a anti-cheat

3. -Earning R's- (Semi-Fixed)
Don't get me wrong, I like to grind for R's, but getting 15+ kills and very few deaths just to earn 450 R's is a bit annoying, especially when a lot of the items in the shop are several times that, I feel like there should be challenges or some other way to earn more R's quicker, and when a host leaves the game because they get fed up over some bs, I end up earning half of I would've.
This issue could just be me.

4. -Settings/Performance- (Getting Better)
I've seen a lot of people with a better rig then me talk about playing with 30-40 fps on the lowest settings, I personally don't experience this, because there are ways to fix these issues as of now, like adding "-dx11" to your launch options, that doubled my frames on a setup that falls just under recommend specs.
Another thing is certain settings causing issues, like "Fullscreen" and resolution not saving, and having to reset them every time you get on the game, and the resolution selection doesn't select the resolution you always want, sometimes you gotta pick it more then once just for it to process it.
Global Illumination as of now can only be picked on "EPIC" or "LOW" quality, no in between, don't know why.

5. -Menus-
A lot of the time, I get stuck in the settings menu, or audio, and having to spam right click and esc to get out, I have also seen people talking about their menu completely disappearing, this hasn't happened to me yet.

6. -Damage or Registration-
idk if it's just me, but I could mag dump a enemy, and then get 2 tapped like it's nothing, I'll fly my drone to them, and they'll have blood splatters all over their body and face, and walk it off like it's nothing, this has happened to me more times then I can count, I know it isn't me missing my shots, so no it ain't a skill issue, otherwise there'd be no blood splatter on them, idk what can cause this, or if it's just Unreal Engine, Unreal Engining.

7. -Graphical Glitch-
My first time playing my games graphics looked like ♥♥♥♥, the plane was all white, everything had a weird grey glossy shine to it, and would only look normal under a flashlight, it took a few days until I finally found something off a twitch streamers clip.
I didn't mind it as much because of the fix, but hell was it annoying to see everywhere.

-This fix will reset all your settings and take off your gear-
(if this is your issue, go to "Appdata/Local/Bodycam" and move the "saved file out somewhere as a backup, and boom, should be fixed.)

8. -Teleport/Phasing Bug-
For some reason just recently as of (6/16/24) a odd bug has started happening a lot more, people could be standing still and they start phasing or teleport a floor above them, or a wall next to them, and it does affect gameplay, this happened to a opponent and my teammate managed to kill him on the first floor, the the enemy was actually in the basement.
this bug happens for a good 1-3 seconds, long enough to make a game changer, this should be prioritized to be fixed

9. -Sever Connections-
I can't play any lobby above 30ms otherwise I start rubberbanding to no end, any lobby below that is fine, literally nothing, but as soon as it hits 30 I can't even move 2 feet without going right back to where I was a second ago.

10. -Deathmatch Spawns- (from a comment)
I don't personally like deathmatch all that much, but when I do play it, I often times spawn right next to someone, mostly in the basement of the House map, someone just sitting in the dark corner spawn killing because it's easy, constantly spawning and seeing "cam offline" is beyond annoying, sometimes I'm dead before the "cam online" fully gets off my screen, maybe more considered spawns would be nice

again I love this game, I'll keep playing it no doubt, but all these things make the game either annoying to deal with, or a hella tedious to play.

you can give me feedback here also, if some of this bs has happened to you or not, I doubt the devs will see this but oh well.

I also experiance alot of times basic issues in the menu., i also get stuck between menus. Back button is just not working. and autojoining finding servers is a pain, you join, start palying Match not even over then you are back in the lobby without any reason..
latley the recent issue is that the game reverts its Graphics setting to Windowed mode. then i have to everytime go to settings change res to my desired ress and set at fullscreen. sometimes some other setting , i just ignore now also changes back.. and yes i do click apply.. successfully exit game and restart
Lastly not sure if i am alone but i get alot of UT game engin crashes. it just closes with a box that i can onlu click on OK to close. but i also get this in other modern UT5 engine based games, like Ark Ascended ect.
by no means do i have the BEST rig , but i am thinking i should not suffer so much with a Laptop that has an RTX 4060 , I9-13th gen with 32,gig Ram.

It takes time to get used to the slower player/gamestyle compared to Doom Ethernal. but i had to turn on FPS indicaters because it feels so slow but i do get avg of 71+/_ FPS so the game isnt as slow as it sometimes feels.

And i can also speek about feeling frustrated at times, about the suspicion or ocurrance of either cheater or campers becase it felt like these other guys has super human accuracy , i get shot from nowhere or the guys see me coming through walls. but this kinda got less as i adapted also to the gamestyle.

one last Suggestion , i also found is spawn points. would be very close to active players. so you spawn in . and boom same time out.

There is a folder "saved" which contains more folders and files.

You can move it to, let's say your desktop. Then start game and in case anything were to break or go wrong for any kind of reason upon relaunching the game you have a backup.

The issue happened to me when I first bought the game, and when I saw another twitch streamer have the same issue, this solution is what they did to fix it. And yes it does work, idk why it does, my best guess is because it regenerates some type of graphic cache when relaunching the game, even on their discord there is another solution very similar to this.

Thanks for the fast reply. It sure is a weird fix for a graphics glitch, but i will try this and see if it works. None of the graphics settings seem to fix the glitch.

No problem, I didn't think it would work either but I was desperate to get that really cool realistic look that was promised, and not this glossy gray looking world.
