Bodycam

Is the Oil rig map a purchased asset?
I just saw some random mobile game ad on yt shorts (Battle Prime) and i noticed somerhing strange.

It played some scripted typical mobile shooter ad, but the map was EXACTLY the same as the one in bodycam.
I couldn't save a link because it was an ad, nor could i manually find it by googling it sadly.

I know oil rigs are generally similarz but this one seemed to be 1:1 the same (the 2 silos next to eachother, the staircases, the shack in the middle etc).

I'm not complaining at all, i'm just curious. I know assets can be very useful especially for smaller dev teams, but i assumed the maps were all handmade due to the graphical trickery?
Has anyone seen this map in the asset store?

I think everything from this game is from some form of asset store but don't quote me on this .

Yeah it is, some are a little bit tweaked and some aren't.
I don't care if it's from asset, as long they balance it for better gameplay purpose.

Thanks for the link.
It's a very impressive map, come to think of it all maps i've played on this were nice and felt like they belonged in a pack rather than just loose assets.

I understand people can be sceptical of assets in general but if used properly it can let a small team make a AAA-feeling game.

small team does not == a couple young guys, one still a kid, who don't know how to make the rest of the game.

Stop getting fooled by graphics dude. Graphics is just a tiny part of the game. Don't get hyped by this cause you gonna get scammed again.

Go vent somewhere else.
Idc about graphics i'm only inquiring about the map(s).
I actually really liked the gameplay, but refunded it due to the constant server closing mid-match.

Buying assets from the asset store to use in your game without modifying it doesn't mean you don't know what your doing, if it works, it works.
