how much storage is required for just one update!!!!

each update says " not enough space" , i got 49 gb available on disk for now, but still not enough???. this is insane bruh
the last update i had to wipe the entire 200 gb partition just to put the game and be able to update it,
then i found out it requires 119 gb of free space just for 55 gb game and maybe 10gb of update at maximum
i said "maybe" because the game never shows the update size.....just why????

updates are varied, but you need at least twice the size of the update available for it to unpack and install properly/

Its not uncommon with games these days it seems. I've seen updates on other games as large as 120GBytes. (Stalker 2)

Perhaps its time you bought a few TB of SSD to have your games installed on.

I recently moved all of my games onto a RAID SSD 4TB, now loading times are a 10's seconds instead of minutes. Expensive but worth it.
