Game ban for no reason

so today i was playing the game and later after a break i tried to start it and it didnt work so i checked the files for errors on steam and still it didnt work then i restarted my pc and i got a game ban on my steam account and i dont know why i didnt cheat in any way or misbehaved in some kind
i already mailed the devs and waiting for answer i just wanted to ask here if someone happend the same thing or someone who knows how this happend

for my defense all i can say is that i never cheated in any game my entire life and its the only ban i have on my account and its a wrong ban

According to Steam you do not own Bodycam.

I was complaining about another game, but it's the same problem

yeah sure man i install a cheat instantly after buying the game look up my steam account i have thousands of hours in other games and never cheatet there and dont have a ban

yeah idk i contacted them on X, instagram and on email but they didnt respond yet

The game literally tries to force you onto discord when you first launch it, use that.

Ive heard removing shadows by using the nvidia optimization gets you banned is one of the common reasons on discord , hope it helps, best way to contact is discord.

Good luck proving it unless you are sitting right next to the person playing. Would have to be the no ♥♥♥♥♥ given type to get banned for using that method.

yea no i got banned for a controller on gray zone they resolved the issue however, not sure how this game bans people or the things that lead to it. The OP should try to use the discord to communicate with them however.

You got banned from GrayZone for simply "using a controller" ?
Steam itself encourages controller use and provides tools to add controller support to games so was you using some sketchy emulator program?

Searched their discussions and yea no, people were getting banned for using controller input software/scripts that added aim assists and such to the game. That is deserved!
