I can’t stop playing this game. Believe me, I tried. It enters my dreams when I sleep. I called out of work forever. I had to dump my gf because she wanted too much attention. My neighbors did a wellness check and I answered the door in nothing but my underwear and headset. One day I will tell my grandchildren about Bodycam and they will inherent all of my knowledge.

same bro I've grinded to general and still having a blast, went to play cs and cod yesty and they just felt lackluster in comparison (I still like them don't get me wrong).

just something about this game is so fun, I feel like it's the 2010s again back when I was a kid and used to get hooked on fps games for unhealthy amount of hours

I really love it.
I am able to accept that it's early access and not finished but the potential here is huge and its clear there is a market and a playerbase for a game like this.

If these guys fail to deliver (which i worry they will because they are so young and just the two of them) another dev will come in and do this better.

What is happening here (and with the Unrecord demo) is a new genre of shooter. This gritty style has been done before but 2024 is the first time it can be done to this level of fidelty.

So yeah... either way we are gonna see more of this.

Its massively fun.

I went to play COD after this and ended up uninstalling it because it just feels like a clown show now to me. Although i prefer games like Insurgency and Arma anyway.

Also. Its pretty obvious that most steam users don't understand this concept - but not every game has to be enjoyed by you. It's ok for a game to not vibe with you and its ok for others to enjoy it.

There are litterally countless ridiculous things Americans can be polarised about at the moment and arguing about video games is really the most pointless of all those things you could be spending your time doing. Play what you enjoy. Let others play what they enjoy.
