Friend goes to opposite team on new game

Able to run through a full game, then, when playing with a friend, it puts us on separate teams.
We are both set to the same team in the lobby before starting the session.
Anyone else having this issue of it not keeping your squad together?

Have you tried switching teams after loading the session...?

the lobbies are more than busted from my experience. lets hope it gets resolved so we can play. i havent even been able to connect to a game yet.

If you can, Host a game by yourself and jump off the plane. After loading in, I usually have a full lobby in under 20 seconds. However, this causes a bug for me in which friendly teammates share my name, making callouts pretty difficult.

We've sometimes had luck with that, here lately it locks the teams where it won't let me flip to his side.
I did notice before that it wouldn't team balance so we were 4v6 for a few rounds.

Had this happen to me as well. I had a custom name set for a friend on Steam, then three teammates all had that name.
Hopefully its worked out.

The game has trouble balancing the teams. I find myself having to try and rally the players to do balancing or I just kick people off until its balanced.
