NO FULL CONTROLLER SUPPORT?

Some buttons work like trigger and movement but no look function. I use a controller when playing fps game, that's my jam. I wish this awesome game supported it.

i know i was just thinking this i tried it out today with both a xbox and ps5 controller xbox is borked completely ps5 is playable just missing crouch and cannot be mapped in setting as it wont assing buttons once cleared hopefully a update can fix assigning buttons then itle be 100% its like 95% with a ps5 controller

You should consider learning to play with mouse and keyboard. It's objectively more accurate and faster. Once you get used to it you'll never go back.

I'm kinda getting the hang of it. Yeah I admit it the mouse aim is more accurate but moving my player is a bit tiring coz my fingers are in an unnatural position.

Try out steam input, you can map your controller for keyboard only games.

me ocurre igual. Necesito soporte para mandos. Tengo una mano dañada para siempre yla unica manera de poder jugar a videojuegos sin dolor es gracias a poder usar un mando. He probado otras configuraciones pero nada evita el dolor, al intentar jugar con teclado y ratón y colocar los dedos en posicion WASD... se me hace imposible poder jugar. Espero que añadan soporte nativo para mando, a ser posible de XBOX. Un saludo.

movement is what messes me all up with mouse and keyboard thats my main gripe. Im terrible at it.

There's more to this problem than just kb/m vs controller skill-issue comparison.. A recent RSI Injury which leaves my right arm (from neck/shoulder to my hand) numb/in pain when using mouse and keyboard makes it impossible to enjoy the game for more than a few minutes.. Controller doesn't have the same negative effect on me.

The binding of all features aside from aiming for controller seems like an intentional "dig" towards controller users.. which is funny I will admit, I also used to joke about controller users so I got a decent laugh out of this initially, but my recent injury has made controller usage my only option for the time being. While I hate to consider myself a "controller user", I simply have no choice at the moment.

I do hope the devs will consider this, this is a simple accessibility limitation which isn't specific to handicapped players. Still love the game, hoping my arm and hand get back to normal for mouse and kb, but for now it's still an issue.
