Body bomb on the close quarters maps is exceptional

Such a great concept. The free placement of the bomb. Takes a familiar concept and makes it more dynamic but also faster paced.

Now people are learning the maps and mechanics as well the rounds are way more tense than they were last night.

I definitely hope they explore a few more game modes as well but so far i love them all.

Bodybomb is really fun to play (once you understand how to arm and diffuse lol)

Deathmatch is just pure fun even though the spawns are a bit annoying.

Team Deathmatch is great because its round based with no respawns so it immediately feels more tense. The fact that the maps are all dynamic with lighting and weather changes just makes the evolution of the match feel interesting.

What other game modes would work?
I really think a hostage mode could be nice. I do think a battle royale style deathmatch with a shrinking zone would be fantastic on the Forrest map.

I also think VIP could work well - similar to the VIP mode in halo where each team has to take out the other teams VIP.

Anyway. The more i play the more i love this game. Considering this is very early access it;s hugely enjoyable and has loads of potential. Can't wait to see where they take this.

It also seems like the crowd playing is more mature than most popular shooters so the banter in voice coms has been great so far. No one getting angry with you for not playing how they want you to play after they died lol.

Also the drone system is great. Not only do they feel nice to fly - but the fact that the game encourages you to use them for call out. Super useful on the dark maps. People complain but its nothing that players aren't already doing on discord voice coms in other games anyway - but here they gamify it. The drone can be shot down. Just takes something that people already do in multiplayer games and takes control of it in a fun way.

Last night i had team mates guiding me to the enemy in the dark.

The game isn't for everyone and that is ok. It's not supposed to be for everyone. Already from the details and game mechanics you can see that these guys have a pretty good grasp on what is fun and what kind of shooter they want this to be.

I had to force myself to stop playing just now so I can eat a late lunch and take care of a few quick errands. Literally can’t wait to hop back on and play the Body Bomb mode. Only map I don’t really love is the Oil Rig.

I had some fun games of death-match on there and it was great.

I quite like the different levels and how there are some darker areas. I can imagine team deathmatch on it would be rough though.

I quite like the different levels and how there are some darker areas. I can imagine team deathmatch on it would be rough though.

If I’m being honest, it’s just my least played map and I have no sense of the lanes or verticality yet, so I’m getting toasted.

The light & dark contrast on some of the maps is amazing, especially on an HDR capable monitor. I love walking down the pitch black hallways and flashing my light on/off for a quick second to identify enemy positions and execute.

Yeah on my HDRI the rooms are so dark at first and it takes time to adjust.
I really love how the GI lighting in this game becomes a tactical tool.

Like on Russian house at night when its dark you can use the windows to pick out silhouettes of the enemy and you have to be conscious of the same.

When entering buildings on oil rig you have to give it time to adjust

I think if you played games instead of complaining on forums all the time, you might, just, idk, know that he is playing and commenting while waiting for matches or rounds.

Which is still better than spending your weekend just complaining.

Haha nah.
I've seen people do that and they are an easy target.

By design it has the beep as well as the light so its pretty easy to track on most maps.

The best strat is usually planting and defending. You have to set up fast though as the enemy can rush.
