I'm sure it was a deliberate choice to save on development time instead of creating a dozen different face models.

It probably also saves on memory and helps performance.

That said though it's pretty easy to knock out a bunch of faces from meta-human so even if they wanted to they could.

After playing you completely forget there aren't faces anyway. It has no impact on gameplay.

The game is meant to look like a Bodycam being broadcast in real-time that was leaked.

They should keep the faces blurred.
