What did everyone expect?

Sorry to say, but did anyone really expect that this rushed, multiplayer copy of upcoming singleplayer game will be good? This game was doomed by the rushed timeline, studio that has a single unfinished game under them & unoriginal graphic designs. Doubt this game will be updated extensively since it was a cash grab from the start.

I personally didn't expect much from the game, just tried it and refunded.
It's a cool concept but I can't see myself having fun playing it, who needs a competitive shooter that is P2P, without anticheat, but with super cool graphics?

Might have worked if it was a different game (PvE like Ready or Not, or maybe had a story line, whatever).

As of now it just seems more of an experiment than a game

Guess what, the better version is Unrecord, story based, FPS shooter with realistic graphics. Bodycam is a rushed copy of that game made only to cashgrab on its initial hype.

I like the idea, not the execution. Maybe if you actually read something I said, you wouldnt need everything to be spelled out for you.

Dont give me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about the execution of it. You dont even own it and watching people play it is not the same as playing it. You got butt hurt this game came out before unrecord and stole all the hype. Still not denying being a pedo lmao

despite how this thread has turned out...and i kinda hate myself for doing so after skimming through these comments, but I kinda agree with OP. Or, at the very least, see where hes coming from. This game and unrecord looks nearly identical. When I 1st seen this game I thought it WAS unrecord. It looks like the same map, same gameplay style. They even did the thing where they censor the faces....

It does look like an exact copy of it, and I can see it being rushed out and not being supported for very long, if at all. Maybe even some legal trouble coming the devs way. It would almost be hard to beat them down too hard, since they are pretty much a couple of kids, IF that part is even true. And to throw something together so quick, especially with their ages (again if thats true and just not more marketing/trickery) shows they have SOME kind of talent and interest in game development.

On the other hand, it really does seem like they were just trying to cash in on the hype of unrecord before it was released, and the price is pretty high for what it is. Yeah, it looks good, but its just done all in UE5 with assets, so its not like they had much or anything to do with that. The visuals are more of a testament of UE5 then creative and artistic talent of these devs. This could be a quick cashgrab/scam as OP has suggested, or it could just be a couple of really passionate kids trying to dip their toes into what could turn out to be a lucrative career for them.

They could be taking the funds they get from this and actually invest it into this game, their futures, and future games and projects, as opposed to taking it and running. Really only time will tell whats actually going to come of the game, and who these guys REALLY are.

Glad someone actually reads the threads. You can check here to get more background info on why I believe this is a cashgrab. TLDR: Shady business practices, unpaid overworked media team, backing from a wealthy family of one of the devs, parents who can't handle criticism and more.

I've already had more fun playing this than I did in the last 5 instalments of COD. Sure there is things that needs to be fixed but its also a early access game.
