what about practicing
Back in the 80s and 90s, devs were limited with technology and budget so some of them went creative with storytelling and gameplay mechanics. I would say the real decline started a decade ago and asset flipping didn't help matters. We're swimming in an ocean of single-dev garbage and big publishers have torpedoed the AAA marketplace.
If it looked fun, Thats because it was real people.
Because everyone cheating nowadays so we'd rather get that solo experience.
Ps. Backgammon pieces found thousands of years ago made out of bone or The Crew. Bless you.
Oh yeah just thinking its hard AI makes my experience different. like when i played my first online battlefield game yesterday after finishing the campaign and went 1/23.
even if at some point i was good enouhg to have lieka 1.0 KDA thats a whole different experience than progressing through a story where u are set up to be the hero.
especially in shooters where u just have to pray that the game doesnt get a cheater problem.
i dont play videogames to grind thousands of hours just to start having a bit of fun.
give me AI up to that point, like e.g. sid meiers civilization does. i can start at standard and now im close to beating it on the highest difficulty.
also noone is demanding a campaign or anything, people are just asking if its planned.
i dont get your spupidity of thinking that everybody is the same and wants to play a game the same way. some people just play a few hours a month and no matter how much talent they have, if they dont have previous shooter experience they will not be good enough to compete ina game unless it has really really good matchmaking and a playerbase like valorant or CS, which surprise, not all games have.
