Rain Blood 2?

It's been a few years after I played Rain Blood 1 RPG (totally recommended) and I'm still missing the 2nd part, supposedly a few years ago the English version of the 2nd part was almost done and was released on China, anyone can shed some info about the English version?

For those who don't know Mirage it's actually a prequel of a indie awesome RPG called Rain Blood: Town of Death which ended in a cliffhanger.

So it's been a few months, is this still a thing that could happen? I've beaten Rainblood and really enjoyed it, would love to play the 2nd game.

Few months? Almost a year since their last reply.

So far Origo has 2 accounts, one of them had the title of publisher and the other didn´t, both of the accounts answered questions here, but now either of the acc have the title of publisher, so I dunno if they still have the publishing rights for the rainblood series, or dunno. I've been trying to dig in the web for news but nothing about a localisation of Rainblood 2.

Qiwei Liang Twitter developer of the first game went inactive 2 years ago after confirming that the translation was all done, Soulframe page (www.soulframe-rpg.com) at that time stopped working too.

At this pont Idk if even Qiwei Liang had anything to do with the development of this game.

The rumor is that the game has been already released in China, but I don´t have any source that can confirm that. That´s all the info I have. Anyone feel free to shed light in any aditional info or news about this.

It definitely seems like the publisher has abandoned this title. There was some half-baked reply on another thread about how the game developer had dissolved and there wouldn't be any more support, but S-Game seems to still be alive and well and working on a mobile version of Rainblood: Mirage. It's disappointing, but I don't expect any more follow up about an English release of Rainblood 2 unless someone else picks up the ball.

They should make a sequel (not the JRPG) of this game. This game is so underrated. If you're into crazy skilled combos, this is it.

What a shame...this is such a good little game when you want to scratch that DMC style itch for 20-30mins. In fact, it was because of this game that I didnt buy DMC4:SE when it went on sale a few days back. Hope better news comes soon.

okay. So I want to revive this necro post. Rain blood 2 is a Phantom blade zero for people who don't know. Phantom blade is a game from same devs as this game with same characters
