Metacritic Reviews
Guys, for those who purchased the game and have review ability on metacritic please give honest reviews and scores. We want to earn your respect and your passion for our product. I look hope to see your reviews in the near future.

Recently bigger portals hit down and give poor reviews on indies due to corporate incentives from bigger publishers. This kills metacritic scores and ultimately sales for us small developers and publishers.

I really hope this doesn't happen, the game looks fun! But Im gonna have to wait until a review or two come out.

There is a youtuber who does a series that is very fair, especially to indy games.

He does the series "WTF is ... "Game Title" and it has helped me make some decisions on games like these.

Developer should have a special label.

Their game LITERALLY just got put on Steam. Somehow I doubt there's a totally random person pretending to be the publishers of this game here.
Agreeing so far. And can we have at least sources about these "corporate incentives from bigger publishers" ? You're saying that publishers asked people to get your game down while litteraly nobody knows it ? C'mon.

BTW, if you really are the publisher, I work for a french gaming website named Gamalive. Not a "big" should I add. I'll be happy to see you send me a key for a review, if your game is so positive, my review should be as well. Let the medias know it.

Sorry Origo Games, but have you ever done anything can be considered as "marketing" for this game? There's not a single one PRESS REVIEW for this game, no PRESS REPORT this game except your poor "press release" work until it's released here and now you ask players to review this game on Metacritic?

YOU ARE THE WORST PUBLISHER I HAVE EVER SEEN, EVEN WORSE THEN EA. At least EA care about their games (but don't care about players) and know how to marketing. Just put this game on Steam doesn't make you a competent publisher.

I am a Chinese player, a fan of RainBlood series, I bought this game Collector's edition in China and the only reason I won't but it again on Steam is YOU.

You are no qualified to be this game's publisher (I don't know why they choose you).

I imagine they were chosen because nobody else would care about an extremely obscure Chinese video game franchise. Meanwhile, Origo Games are themselves very tiny (they have only one other game to their name), so any game they manage to add to their repertoir is a blessing for them. It's two very obscure presences sticking together.

Incidentally, is this actually a franchise? A very thorough online search tells me only Mirage and Town of Death ever saw the English market, I have no idea if other games exist.

EDIT: A quick check tells me that RBC: Mirage isn't even present on Metacritic, so I'm not sure how the publisher expects anyone to leave "honest reviews".

To avoid drama, and to ask for community assistance is always there. We have given proper press releases over the past 8 months, including a press release during E3. We cannot please everyone, especially with such high expectations. We took a game which was completely great and in Mandarin Chinese, and then brought it to you localized completely in English, no small feat. Say what you will, damn us if we do and damn us if we dont. We want to bring the best games that never get a chance to hit the market globally, and that is what we do.
But man where is your MC page you're saying you're killed by critics ? Cannot find.

Send me a key and I'll do a review. If you dont trust me, I still can give you french papers that will let your game be more known.

YOU have really done a great work but some small mistakes on the steam store page are very misleading.
Those things are too small so I, as a fan of the series, am very surprised at that multi-player stuff, and the lack of support for languages listed on the store page.
Never expected that kind of things to happen.
YOU have my respect and I'm not expecting marketing things.
Just don't make silly mistakes.

And thanks for fixing the problems on the store page. Hope everything could be fine then.
