Hi Guys, the online mutiplayer works again.

We apologize for the server outage over the weekend. Our hosting provider undertook a server migration to a new data center during which time the Lobby service was unavailable. The servers are back up and we are investigating solutions to avoid similar loss of service in the future.

All the accounts previously created are not available anymore, so you need to create a new one. Plus, if you can't join a lobby or no one can join yours please open the following ports 61111 and 33766.

At least we're planning today a server reset, that won't effect your accounts. It takes an hour and we will communicate the spefic time in the upcoming hours.

Hi Guys, finally the new Online patch is available for download. Below the changelog. Due to the fact that these technical issues affected your game experience, from now on the Top Rider 2012 DLC is completely free. Download and enjoy it!!

MotoGP™13 has no dedicated servers for multiplayer, so the quality of the online matches is strictly dependant from the connection speed of the match host. Lag situations and disconnections are mainly due to connection losses or bad connection with the host.

One shoddy game doesn't mean it's ok to pirate games. Pretty tenuous "excuse" if you ask me. Drm isn't even the issue here, surely a cracked version would still have the same multiplayer issues, would it not?

It's not one shoddy game.

Nobody said DRM was the issue.

A cracked version would be free, whilst the original version is not, and neither of them would have multiplayer. So you can either pay for a broken product, without a multiplayer which was promised, or not pay for a broken product, without multiplayer which was promised.

Logic. How does that work?

Its annoying as the game is so good , id even enjoy just the time trial leader boards working for some sort of competative aspect to it, either way im sure they are fixing it, cant see it being much longer :)

every now and then i try getting into multiplayer sometimes i can see people playing i did actually join a lobby just mow but then once the lobby event finished nothing happened

Its not only this game that dont like hotmail, you will find this problem other places to, hotmail just sux.

Well I have around 12 hotmail accounts and they all work just fine. Hotmail is not at all dead and I have simply not come across this at all ever - but I do wonder where you get that silly idea from. In fact they are still updating the online hotmail services.

There is no reason to blame hotmail for this. Its the devs that should make it work with hotmail

Where do you use you email for ? I have bought a legal game and the game never ask me to put a email adres in. I simply put my game name in the id number tag.
And i played some races online , If everthing works better , the game is great.
But not for now, sadly.

hola ya se de donde viene el problema de validar el juego... yo ya lo solucionado.
te vas a video le das a ventana y luego vas a red y te saldran 3 pestañas, pues bajo de la reset password hay otra pestaña, le das y creas cuenta nueva con gmail, le das y te llegara al correo de gmail la validacion le das al enlace y a funcionar. fallo de milestone al crear las pestañas.

I now have validated my account and I went into MP. Could see 4 games but couldn't connect to any.

I then went and portforwarded the 2 ports and when I try to search for a game it says no games found and tells me connection lost.

Just now connected to a game but then lost connection to host.

Not right yet but appears to be (perhaps) getting better. I'm sure all will be fine and I don't see ranting and raging as any answer. Perhaps informing them of ort experiences would be a better approach.
