The trouble is that we should not have to buy into Google. You may as well just give them your bank account and pin number!
Hello Milestone,
Firstly, may I congratulate you on bringing a superb game that accurately portrays the MotoGP 2013 season, beautiful!.
However, I have come across an issue that is a pretty severe one that really needs attention.
This issue only happens during full 100% race distance races.
I only play offline and only race in full simulation mode. The issue I have encountered is that by doing full 100% lap distance races, when you use the 'flashback' or 'rewind' option, it causes the race to never end.
What I mean by this is, say you are having a good race, you get to lap 18 of 21 say, I made a mistake and slid off the bike. I used the 'flashback' option and the race lap counter suddenly remains at 18 laps of 21.
By that I mean you do lap 18, but when you cross the line it doesn't change to 19 as it should.
I think the 'flashback' utility is obviously causing issues, which in turn prevents you from completing the race.
By the way, I have done this numerous times on different circuits. I had re-installed the game 3 times to be sure it wasn't anything on my part, and it wasn't.
It is kind of frustrating, but to be honest, I don't use the 'flashback' option anymore, its more realistic that way.
Still, it is a Bug/Issue that still should be addressed.
THX
These problems has been mentioned many times in threads past so I think they already know about them.
Indi track i find the worst track with lag, i try the xbox360 game and there the lag was wors than its on my PC, thats why i buy the PC edition.
Motorhome:
The newspaper/magazine is horribly glitched post-race and does not show names. This happens race after race. Example: http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/882986164399189564/0D7E5E2F38BC9F0F3D8D7AEE0F3D7376727F3CAC/
In the laptop, every single team manager, from Heidolf to Ajo uses the same gurning face. Either get it fixed with accurate faces or use a variety of black silhouettes. Also, there are grammatical issues (capitalisation at the start of a letter!). Small things but they grate and look amateur. http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/882986164399186311/C84FA4C086603E2A72205C841FD55420EA701A48/
Rider creation... Where are the non-white options? And why so limited? I'd have thought you could have turned up at a race weekend with a white-screen background and have people pay YOU to put on a pair of leathers and pose as a bike racer to be ported into a game. You could have had literally dozens, and not a bunch of people who look like underfed sunshine lacking coders and interns who need to get some sleep.
In the race:
In career mode, when starting out and racing using pretty poor machinery compared to the top AI, there is a strange phenomenon with timing and actual on-track performance. I'm just dipping in my toe at this point so I had on the easier settings. But what happened was this. I was on pole by six seconds at Jerez. But the AI riders would breeze past me like I was on a CG125 on the home straight, and destroy me on the brakes even though I had the rear wheel not just skipping but a good few inches off the ground. Only on the corners would I be able to zip back underneath them. Then come the next lap, they just left me for dust on the gas. Even with a 2 second lead coming out the final corner and really on the limit of speed for available track, by the finish line they are accelerating hard past me. This happened in all four sessions, and when I set my pole position lap with that incredible gap, on circuit I was passed into turn one on the brakes by Rins, and he got further and further ahead of me over the lap. So how can he be faster than me on screen by some margin but I destroy him on lap time? This also meant that in the race, while I eventually prevailed and won, rather than riding away about 5s a lap, I was constantly fighting back from 4th place at turn one, to have the lead as I crossed the finish line. Every lap. The issue was even more pronounced at Mugello, with Khairuddhin zooming away from me in qualifying on track, but I was 8s a lap faster in the wet. Conversely in this race, I romped away.
I have had problems in watching replays with riderless bikes. Both mine and AI, and no rhyme or reason for it. Sometimes it's all fine, then other times a replay depicts riderless bikes.
Finally, I think the level of trackside graphics is poor and lazy. At Austin the exact identical Rossi flag appears on every corner, there's a half dozen Dovi flags, one Hayden flag, and a couple of Sic58 flags. Where's the variety? Make some up, create some, look at real ones from coverage around the world and dot them around the place. It makes the game feel soulless and ugly, and like nobody could be bothered to make it look good. MotoGP is a niche game for a niche market of players with a passion for bikes and/or bike racing. The environment matters to them.
Better if we can pick our own image from our PC, so we can get our own face in the game.
Great post...
Especially this:
LOL
I just looked today in the game files to see if this was at all possible but it isn't unfortunately.
yes fix is mention in other post just look for VCOMP100.DLL, its on page 8 - 11 now i think
Its Win8 64bit you have
el numero de carreras, y poles pero no las victorias, a alguien le pasa ????????????
Example:
-AI fastest lap in qualifying:"2:00:000"
-AI fastest lap during race:"2:02:00"
Otherwise the game is great im having a lot of fun,i'd just like to see a more competitive AI that
puts pressure to the player when he is leading the race...because most of the time after one corner(more frequently after fast chicanes like in catalunya and mugello) im already at +1 sec
Other little problems:
-weather is repetitive in some tracks for example at brno and silverstone it always rains, things like that
-in replay there's no rewind
-when you crash you get back to the track a little bit too fast and the bike doesn't get damaged at all, even on heavy damage mode
Im playing on PS3 btw but i think that on PC and on 360 there are pretty much the same problems.
Can anyone confirm what im saying?
Thanks for support and for reading
