Error at start up. VCOMP100.DLL...

I get an error when i try to start this came. VVOMP100.DLL is missing from you computer.Try reinstalling the bla bla bla.
I've got windows 8 64bit.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to solving this?

I've just checked my windows 8 installation and all .dll files including VCOMP100.dll are located in the system32 folder.

VCOMP100.dll have to be in system not in system32 and you cant just copy the one from system32 to system.

missing "VCOMP100.DLL" just means you don't have the right Microsoft Visual C++ package installed. you can download it from
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/search/Results.aspx?q=visual%20c%2B%2B&form=DLC
or you can go to the Microsoft download center and search for "Microsoft Visual C++ "
downloading it from a dll library site is just a temp fix which I don't recommend. If you want to fix the root of the problem download the correct package.
