controllers? what r u riding?
i only have the demo right now. will be purchaseing game in a few days. i see that they have improved the inputs somewhat, but still not good on the demo. milestone we need at least 5 axis capabilty, so i can ride my thrustmaster gt. id like to here what controller you are riding and give it a revue/rating. how i ride my pc.
logitech 3dpro flight stick moded to handlebars. getting rebuilt so i couldnt test on demo
srw s1 wheel mostly worked great on demo. 1 paddle axis wouldnt work, that sucks milestone.
logitech f310 dual action. works fine but again trigger axis will only read as a button.that sucks.
logitech dual action. old school works great thumb sticks are worn in.
thrustmaster gt mod work in progress, sit on sim.
wont use my steering wheels for riding lol.
milestone your my only hope for a moto sim league. i beg you please stop limiting the pc with console kid inputs. yet im thankfull for the improvements.

I've tried logitech F710 gamepad - OK, Logitech attack 3 joystick- OK, G27 wheel, did not work. Now using Saitek Pro Flight Yoke!!!!!!!!- Fantastic. Best (for me) so far. Noticed there is now 3 joypad options in controller setup, previously 2. Using joypad3 for yoke. Yippee

nice, i was planning on picking up a saitek to replace my 3dpro. are you getting any lag? on sbk11 i was getting horrible lag with the 3dpro but those appeared to be the same inputs from motogp 08 with an extra contoller option.
moto games ive suffered the controller horror on pc...and gamespy servers...
motogp urt3
motogp 08
sbk 11
now motogp 13 <-off to purchase after this post. i forgot to say congrats and great job milestone, on getting off gamespy and getting us on steam. thank tou thank you thank you.
i hate to say it, but if the srw-s1 wheel was fully functional it probly be the best non mod plug and play controller sim option. i actually lean with it. im gona have to build some attachable handles with grip throttle, levers cabled to the paddles to make it feel evan more moto. i use old bicycle parts, the cables give a realy good sim feeling.

Have you tried an xbox 360 controller? Does everything I need and I do okay on it, using helmet cam no less. Checkout helmet cam videos thread for examples. Good button setup can make for an enjoyable experience once you get adjusted to it.

The saitek yoke is a flight controller, similar to what you would find in a non combat aircraft and not what you would expect to be using on a bike sim. I have tried, and was wanting to be able to, use a wheel to give greater control, which sounds wrong to a few gamers for some strange reason. If a wheel had worked I would have attached a handlebar to simulate a bike, but with a yoke, the steering is very close to the same action. Now having greater success and control over my riding. I'm still experimenting. Riding with either a 360/F710 contoller or a joystick is not the way one rides a bike, despite what you may read on these pages. I like your idea of attachable handlebars etc. I may do something similar. No lag btw.

Even though you are shying away from console controllers, I'll add that attaching thumbstick extensions, like Kontrol Freek Classic, to my 360 controller helped with giving more precision.

snu i like the x box controllers rubber thumbpads much better, but i need to get one back from a friend. i mod all my joypads with a sorta pistol grip under the triggers so my long fingers dont cramp up under long gaming.

lyttlepete, thanks for the flight stick explanation. i fully understand. my 3d pro flight stick has been totally modified into handlebars. the handlebars have aproximately the same proportions as my zx7rr has. im rebuilding it right now, it was a sit on unit but im makeing back into a desk clamp on like the steering wheels. im going to turn my old thrustmaster rgt steering wheel into full moto sim sit on unit. but the only moto game/sim that it will work with is gp bikes.
i love gp bikes, best physics of any sim yet the multiplayer is not good in america and theres no A.I.
i dont know if i can post pictures in this forum thingy, i can try to put some on the steam picture cloud thingy. i know i can put some on the no grip site, just have to recall/find my password.

milestone wins the moto games genre by default. got motogp 13 last night and it looks wonderfull evan with the graphics/effects scaled down/turned off on my cheap laptop. i dont have interwebnet at my house right now but i cant wait to get it downloaded on my dektop gaming pc.
the problem is not the controller technology. evan the f3/5/710 has the extra axis/slider in the triggers. the problem is most the gaming companies are not utilizing it. all the racing sims evan pibosos excellent inputs regulate you to one contoller option per contolled unit.
does not have to be that way...example battlefield series i can use all my controllers at the same time, g13, flight stick, steering wheel, game pad, keyboard, ctaclysim mouse. battlefield and DDO dungeons and dragons online has the best inputs ive seen, i can choose 2 controllers for every action. with ddo i can use multiple controllers at the same time, but its not reading them as an axis just a button push. i use my wheels pedals for walking forward backward and jumping. i can evan use my midi equipment.
moto sim is the hardest sim out there. we need more axis recognition than any other vehicle.
its a challenge is milestone up to it? after the controller problem gets solved moto sim will be the coolest thing happening on pcs.

Tried Logitec Momo Racing, Attack 3, Force 3d Pro, none work. Using the keyboard and winning almost every race on medium diff.
