I'm in the repair bay and put the curseor on the license to change it and nothing happens. I have read this is how it works. I'm I doing something wrong?

Does it look clean? Not every car would need a new one, you only get the option to if it's kinda rusty. And, sometimes, the 'hitbox' seems to be a bit off, try the edges.

Last time I tried, I had to be parked outside of the bays' "green spot." You can be parked in the green spaces where you sell cars in front of the dealership -- unless the car is already advertised for sale. Also, some of the licenses can't be replaced.

Great comment from Punkerich about the hitboxes. Sometimes it's easier to replace either the front or rear one.

It is rusty. I was trying on the pick up you get to drive in the game. Not sure that will make a difference or not.

Make sure you have the licence plate kit in YOUR inventory, doesn't work from the warehouse storage like other parts.

You have to have the License Plate Repair Kit on you in order to use it. Along with the muffler tape. Every other part works in the warehouse.
