Well the Titantron I used the same method people are using for the "Titantron theme trick" only I didn't use a video with music attached since I just wanted the tron, so I used a silent video. It's not complicated at all and just needs Rad Tools.

The music however is significantly more complicated and requires not only the converting of the music to something the game can recognize but then I have to HEX-edit it directly into the game.

Sadly it still replaces a current theme in the game so for guys like Damien Sandow it works great but for Rollins/Ambrose/Reigns they all use one theme and tron, the Shield, so to put all 3 of their updated themes and trons in it will be required to remove something else.

For now I'll wait till I or someone else can figure out how to actually ADD new songs before I update Ambrose/rollins. In the time being though I'll do people like Sandow, Rhodes (Stardust), Sheamus ... that kind of stuff.

The music gets all incorporated into one file, the titantrons are separate. Once I finish updating everything I'm happy with I can try and post the file somewhere for download.

Ive been thinking about trying this for the last couple days to see if it stops the music lag i get with custon trons if I make them seperate. but the Hex editing seems like a lot of work so I keep putting it off.

Well I was never a fan of the custom trons with music because after the match you would get no music cause the tron wasn't playing. Plus I played the game on PS4 so I know the DLC contains a lot of custom arenas, some of which don't have the tron screens, so there will be no music in there either.

This is why I wanted to figure out how to do it separately so I would always have music when I was suppose to.

So I need a test guinea pig to try out the file and see if it works for them too. The benefit is if it works for you like it does for me you'll have Damien Sandow, Sheamus, and New Day's theme updated and in your game.

Don't worry I'll tell you what file to back up so if for whatever reason it doesn't work you can just put the backup back. Any takers?

Good news, I got a test monkey and he tried out the file on his PC and it worked great. So once I finish up all the updates I'll post a file to download. Be aware it will be quite big though, I only replaced 3 themes and it was 700+MB already :P

Custom minitrons are much more complicated and require special modding tools that I don't have, and am not familiar with.

Custom trons are easy to do and only require Rad tools, check around on these forums or Google there are a bunch of tutorials on how to do it. Most of the people are replacing the titantrons with new titantrons that also have music attached to it. I dislike that option because it means you get no music in classic arenas or at the end of your matches when a wrestler wins ... because the tron that has the music is not being played.

My option is changing the actual music files so they always play when suppose to. So when I replace trons I replace them with silent versions since the music is being played properly.

There is a tutorial on the internet on how to change the music yourself but it requires 3 tools and knowledge of Hex editing. So for the average user, even the tutorial is not going to help you. This is why I am going to update the superstars music (which is what most people ask for) then I'll put the file out for them to download. That way they don't have to go through all the work I am :P

That said after I finish that file I'll probably compile all my silent trons into another file and have that available for download too. It'll take time, but it's coming :)

Yup, many of us have been hex editing the themesongs into the Game_Sound_M.pck file for a few days now. I've currently replaced around 30 themes and am still working on doing more until everything is updated and I have themes for all my CAWs and such. It's definitely nice to be able to edit the themes in. I just wish it was easier to do. Hopefully WWE 2k16 on the PC will come with an option to include custom theme music again so we won't have to jump through hoops to keep them updated.

Yep, I still haven't seen a release to the public yet so I am working on the leasdt invasive replacement which will update new themes while only removing blatantly obselete ones. Then I can offer it for download for people who simple want an "update."

This is great and definitely a step in the right direction, but I would hardly call it a success considering you still have to replace something to make it work.

However, replacing the stupid generic themes with updated WWE themes is a good thing IMO. Also some of the duplicate themes in the game like CM Punk, Undertaker, Triple H, etc. Replacing the extra ones with newer updated themes would be alright as well for players who want a more updated roster, or custom themes they like for their CAWs.

Good work and definitely a push in the right direction. Hopefully soon someone will find a way to add trons and themes without the need of replacing anything in the game.

No I totally agree I hope we find a way to actually add custom themes for sure. For now though, as you said, getting rid of absolute themes and replacing them with current ones is better than nothing.

The same Hex editing process I am using can indeed replace the soundtrack. The songs would still have the same names in the playlist editor, but it would play whatever song was Hex editted in as a replacement.
