Buttons onscreen instead of numbers?

Does anyone else find that their controller (DS4 in my case) has onscreen numbers instead of buttons? Is there any way to change this, whether through DS4Tool or another utility? If not, do we know what file the icons are kept in, and what number is what? I'd gladly mod it if someone can tell me how to open the file and build it back.

I must be getting old, I'm having a hard time with the numbers. "8" means nothing to me on a PS4 controller :(

If you use the DS4Windows tool or similar, you can get the Xbox buttons to display (which is better than the numbers). As for Playstation buttons, you'll likely have to wait for a mod.

Well the problem is that in this game when using DS4 as X360 controller as you should, this game still thinks you are using Dinput controller (because technically you are). So this confuses the ♥♥♥♥ out of this game and thinks you have both. These games annoying, I remember couple other games did this well.
