I spent a fair few hours learning how to make and import a decent texture and the end result is this Terry Funk which I feel is pretty accurate if I say so myself. I'm proud as I feel it's the first CAW I've done that is almost accurate enough to be part of the official game.

This version lacks accuracy on the attire and uses a generic face, but I only found out about importing textures a few hours back. So until I learn how to do it properly, then this is an early version of what I hope will improve in new versions with a face and tshirt imported texture.

But I think it's still worth releasing as it still feels a lot like Terry Funk in-game and it has a pretty accurate moveset and taunts with a custom entrance.

Finisher: Spike Piledriver (Also has Texas Piledriver as a strong grapple up move.)

Finisher: Celtic Lock - Closest thing to Spinning Toe Hold (can substitute Texas Cloverleaf or Figure Four 2 if prefered)

Pretty stellar work, could use some wrinkles on the face but you mentioned you are gonna experiment with facial textures so that will come when you figure that out :)

As far as the shirt image if you want the real one you can find it here: http://www.oocities.org/smokyrobmoore/funk2000-7300.jpg but fair warning it is low res so it won't stretch nicely.

The one you hand-made is fine though honestly. Just linking the pic in case you tried to find it and couldn't :).

Thanks for all your help and advice after spending a fair few hours getting the hang of it, I've updated the topic to show a new version of the Terry Funk CAW with a custom face texture that I made, I'm really pleased with the results.

Thanks for the comments, bumping this for more people to see the updated version, the inferior old version still has a lot more downloads on the community, so please download the new version to replace it as it makes the old version obsolete.

You can actually delete the old version. If you open up the download on your screen you can click "delete" and it removes it from the workshop.

You won't lose total "downloads" or "ratings" by doing this ... it simply removes the old one. It still shows up in your upload list, but no one else can download it and you can overwrite it when you have a new character to upload.

Thanks Gevaudan I didn't know you could delete and still keep your downloads and rating, but also noticed someone had copied and re-uploaded a copy of my early version Terry Funk CAW without flagging it as a reupload, so for the time being I'm keeping both of mine up so there's proof he copied me in terms of the date when the CAWS were uploaded. I will definitely delete the old one though when I run out of space and also that default face Bret Hart too.

Ya that's why I set all mine to "no" for reupload so that doesn't happen. Sucks that some dill-hole did that.
