Character creation still fun?

What I loved about the old WWE games is how fantastic the character creation was, how I could create various videogame characters are weird monster alien things and pit them against one another.
I've heard that they went for a more realistic approach for this game and I was wondering how well the creater mode holds up compared to previous games.

I also used to create demons, monsters, aliens... A lot more limits in this one.

I own this on the Xbox One and i assume its the same.
Basically Create a Wrestler got stripped massively, while they look more like real people now, the clothing and hair is so limited.

Pretty much all of the clothing options are simply something a Real life WWE superstar wears but without the logos.

I hope you unlock more options because it's a crime how limited it is, only a few hair options, cant wear masks with long hair, no body hair, limited selection in tights, just damn going from the older games to this felt like i went backwards. Models are so damned good though.
