How do I set up my xbox360 controller to PC

I have the xbox360 controller. I plugged it in. The button in the middle keeps flashing. I tried to change the input in options but it won't budge from keyborad. How do I enable the xbox360 controller.

Remember my is plug and play.....or try removing your keyboard and then restart the game....it might just set default back to Xbox 360 controller.....One thing i remember though is that you can set up the configurations before starting the game..maybe set up the controller over there...

My controller the middle button blinks on and off. I installed the game with plug and play. I check the file I downloaded it in, it says for wireless. I have a wired. I should be able just plug it in and play. I keep trying change game options from keybroad to controller. It's like it's not detecting it.


Any tips.

it should automatically work unless the controlling is turning on an xbox nearby

And i dun think you need to install any driver for it.....maybe removing the wireless driver might helps...i assume you using xbox 360 controller and not xbox one eh...

It says it's a wireless one. But its plugged in as a wires one. It's showing up as wireless, do I need buy a new controller wired one or is it something else.

So exactly are you using a wireless one or a wired one? I do know that some games have problems with the wireless ones....One example is Ghostbusters....not sure about WWE2k15 though, since i am using the wired one...

Well I think it works a wireless too. But there's this thing you can connect to the cord to make it wired so it connects directly into the back of your PC which I'm doing now. Though the button in the middle is blinking. How do I enable the controller. What do I press.

Eh...it is either a wired one or a wireless one....u do have a long wire right connecting it to a usb short end cable directly to your computer right? If so it is a wired one...other then that if there is no wire in betwwen it is a wireless one....if u r using a wireless one and it is giving u problem. You are better off doing an exchange for a wired one....

xbox wiresless controller DO NOT work with PC. they have to be wired. even gamestops $16 360 controller works perfectly.

The cord you are using is a play and charge cord. That will not coonect the 360 controller to the pc. You either have to have an actually hard wired controller, or buy the wireless keyboard kit which has the controller and the dongle to connect to the pc.

Really? Haven't you heard about receiver? It works prefectly with it.

It must just be your PC. I've been playing exclusively with a wireless 360 pad using the official MS reciever for years. I've never had a single issue, even when using x-padder.

I forgot to update this. I got a controller from the store then used it on my PC. It works fine niw.
