How to use my mouse?

I've seen people mention online that they use mouse + keyboard but I can't figure out how to use the mouse.. only the keyboard works.

For those saying I should just use a controller, all I really like to do is create leagues/wrestlers and watch/sim matches so I am in the menus almost all the time and the mouse would be a lot better.

This game is a port of the nextgen consoles. Mouse support isn't necessary in a wrestling game. It would also only help in the main menus , when creating a wrestler too many other buttons or keys are involved.
