Definitely not boring nor thoughtless in its creation, but I do wonder if any changes will be made with the full release. The only thing I can do is to hope that the final lenght of the game (and how enjoyable that lenght would be) justifies its price (I will buy it anyway, lol).
Anyway, 10/10.
Anyone find Explosive Material within the demo?
In order to get the Broadsword in the demo you need to get the Battle Axe first (just generic stuff from the Ruins I think) and go to the bottom left corner of the Sunken Temple. There’s a red isopod, you need one of his materials. The rest again I think is generic.
Stiletto you need stuff from the Grotto. Should be easily obtainable I think.
Best accessory in the demo is probably Warriors Cloak. You need Dirt Balls from mud fish in the Grotto’s randomized zone. Next best is either Silver Ring or Chemical Cape which both take mostly common materials.
I can't wait to fully collect Aqours and explore the dungeon. I'm dying to use the Cotton Candy Ei Ei Oh as a shield.
I think Crossbow is better than broadsword outside of boss fights. Same damage and one more DP, but much better range.
Perhaps for the range, but Stiletto is a rapid fire throwing dagger with comparable DPS, while Broadsword is faster to swing than crossbow. Of course, I just found two things that upended my findings in the demo.
The Great Axe can be made by getting the material from the Great Axe fishman in the Ruins portal. It’s strong enough to potentially one shot any enemy in the demo besides the giant crab.
And the Analytics Spectacles can be made with two Gold Coins, which can drop from rubble in the Grotto portal. Probably a 1% rate… This increases Crit rate by 10%, which is the only thing in the demo that actually increases damage. Since Crits are just the highest damage rolls, this might end up being a sizable damage increase. …Just gotta get a second coin to test lol.
I found movable blocks and ice walls. I hope check them with map markers.
