Thank you for reading this.
They've had them since 2010: http://www.digitalleisure.com/contents/iphone.htm
Ah, I didn't know. That's good to hear!
I hope you do!
OK, thats completely reasonable. Thank you for answering my question. :3 Well I guess in the meantime I need something to play, so I will buy DL2!
Fine, then how bout D or Mansion of hidden souls, or Road Avenger!
And Cobra Mission!
D isn't an FMV game, it's a pre-rendered adventure game ala Myst. Kenji Eno (RIP)'s estate still owns the rights. The same thing with Mansions of Hidden Souls, though who knows who owns that now. Road Avenger would be good, but G-Mode owns the rights now (along with all the other Data East properties) and even if G-Mode could liscense the game software, the animation and music are most likely still licensed to TOEI, who may not be interested.Even if they were, unless they have the master footage the port won't be HD and Digital Leisure wouldn't be interested in releasing it for anything other than iPhone I guess.
Cobra Command WAS Data East/G-Mode but they let a company called Revolutionary Concepts port it to iPhone, so I'm assuming they didn't let Digital Leisure have the rights.
Perhaps someone can she light on this? i have the iphone/ipad version and the daphne version
still play it now and then for a nostalgia kick.
