Brain Dead 13
Anyone think Brain Dead 13 will ever come out on steam? I use to love it as much as I did Dragons Lair! :toriel:

Where's Braindead 13?
I didn't buy Dragon's Lair because I like Dragon's Lair (even though I do), I bought it so you guys would bring Braindead 13 to Steam, one of my all time favorites. Dragon's Lair 2 is NOWHERE near as good as the first, IMO. Please port your other games like BD13 before this because all that will happen is that you won't make as much money as projected and you'll think "Hmm, guess Steam owners don't want FMV games" and cancel all future releases when actually we want a LOT of games in your catalog, just not in the order you're releasing them.

Thank you for reading this.

I don't believe Digital Leisure owns the rights to BrainDead 13.

They've had them since 2010: http://www.digitalleisure.com/contents/iphone.htm

Unfortunately, the resolution for Brain Dead 13 is too low to really warrant a fresh PC release. However, as you can see there was an iPhone release made available a few years back. Perhaps in the future we could make the low res version available on Steam for the true classic gamers out there.

That's not an FMV game, and wouldn't Crystal Dynamics still own the rights if they hadn't gone up in public domain after Nelvana didn't re-register them?

D isn't an FMV game, it's a pre-rendered adventure game ala Myst. Kenji Eno (RIP)'s estate still owns the rights. The same thing with Mansions of Hidden Souls, though who knows who owns that now. Road Avenger would be good, but G-Mode owns the rights now (along with all the other Data East properties) and even if G-Mode could liscense the game software, the animation and music are most likely still licensed to TOEI, who may not be interested.Even if they were, unless they have the master footage the port won't be HD and Digital Leisure wouldn't be interested in releasing it for anything other than iPhone I guess.

Cobra Command WAS Data East/G-Mode but they let a company called Revolutionary Concepts port it to iPhone, so I'm assuming they didn't let Digital Leisure have the rights.
